Book 14 in Catherine Coulter's FBI series, staring FBI agents Sherlock, and Savich. Here, a private investigator finds herself mixed up in murder, a drug companies coincidental “shortage” of a chemotherapy drug, and not knowing who to trust. She also get tangled up with the SAC (special agent in charge) and his young daughter.
A great “who-done-it” about a serial killer going after the young, rich, elite. In the Everglades, things heat up between the two trying to put a stop to the killings. Minimal supernatural involvement.

Book 10 in the Mallory series. Great historical fiction book that takes place in England with ties to the Caribbeans. Pirate references. Reoccurring characters from previous books. Family conflict, and resolution.
Book 5 in the St. Kilda series. Contemporary fiction with lots of espionage/Former Soviet Union/ex-CIA run around. Racing the clock before a US city gets blown up.

A great story of a young woman, abandoned to survive on her own, and does extremely well. Ends up needing to connect with her son's father in ways that is so unlike her character. Current story.
Book 30 or 40 something that takes place in Jacobsville, Texas. Typical Diana Palmer with government agents, witty banter, and predictability. Still, if you've read the others, it is definitely a must!
Book 3 in the Banning sisters trilogy. Historical fiction with slight reference to the previous characters. If it's been awhile since you've read the other, you may enjoy going back to re-read! (But is fine without going back.)
