The Hurt/Battelle Memorial Library is now accepting applications for a new Board of Trustees member! The term will begin in January 2026. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month. This position is volunteer-based and only requires a couple of hours each month!
The general responsibilities of a Board Member are as follows:
- Establishes policies and long-term goals for the library
- Oversees the general operation of the library
- Initiates and oversees the budget process
- Promotes and advocates for the library in the community.

Board of Trustee Members must reside in Madison County.
